*An excellent credit rating is defined as no prior bankruptcies within the past ten (10) years, no delinquencies within the past thirty six (36) months, no outstanding collection items or charge offs.

The McNeese Federal Credit Union provides FREE credit life insurance for borrowers to cover the unpaid balance of loans up to a maximum of $15,000. Loan Protection insurance is subject to age and health requirements.

Credit Disability Insurance is offered to members on all types of loans. The cost of the insurance premium is financed into the loan. The disability insurance is not required for loan approval and is subject to age and health requirements.
